Meals

When you feel your child is ready to eat solid food, I ask that this first begins at home. Once your child has begun to try a variety of “table foods” you may choose to continue to provide prepared packed meals for your child  - please ensure these meals are ready-to-eat in the summer as we often have picnics and eat outdoors.  In winter, I am willing to warm up food eg, tin of soup/beans or home cooked/chilled/frozen meal.

Alternatively you may find it more convenient for me to provide meals and I am happy to do so upon request.

I do cater for all child’s dietary requirements.

This is an example a typical dinner.

Water/Milk/Squash
Sandwiches or Wrap (egg, ham, cheese, tuna, cheese spreed)
Yoghurt. (squeezy or pot)
Fruit. (Apple, Pear, Grapes, Banana)
Dunkers.
Salad. (Pepper, Cucumber, Carrot, Cherry tomatoes)

Or maybe in the colder months the children like something on toast. (Scrambled eggs, beans or spaghetti hoops.)

This are some examples of a evening meal.

Chicken, potatoes Carrots & Sweet-corn
Sausages with Green Beans and Potatoes
Fish fingers with Oven Cooked Chips and Beans
Spaghetti Bolognaise and Garlic bread
Jacket Potato,  cheese, Sausage & Baked Beans
Cottage Pie with Carrots & Peas
Vegetable pasta bake

All meals are served with a pudding e.g ice-cream, yoghurt, banana and custard.

These are just examples of what may be included in our menu. The children's likes and dislikes are taken into account as well as their dietary requirements and parent's wishes.
